We sat next to the nicest lady ever on our way over. (It was like sitting next to Grammy Jan.) She let Juliet sit in her lap to look out the window and shared her apple slices. I was so grateful to have her company.
The iPad got A LOT of use.
Walking down a narrow little street. It is a wonder how the delivery trucks get around, but they do.
Apparently my husband shops at American Eagle since moving to Saudia.
Juliet loved using real glass cups like us. We saw only one restaurant with a highchair, and children size plastic cups didn't seem to exist. It wasn't a problem and kind of fun for J to pretend to be a grown up.
Waiting so patiently for our dinner.
Our surprise pizzas. We weren't sure what we were getting on them. Brian got clams and mussels and it was pretty good. Mine had an egg on it (which is pretty common in Paris). Normally I would be all for it, except the eggs are cooked too rare for my liking.
I think she had gelato every night.
This was one of my favorite meals. Paper thin sliced beef with salty parm shavings and a little salad.
Fireworks for the Tour de France. We arrived in Nice on the final day for the kick-off of the Tour de France. We were both sad to have missed it, and grateful for the craziness to settle.
The Mediterranean! Our view from our room.
In Nice, I had big bowl of mussels and french fries every night.
My daughter only had french fries every night. So healthy.
Our trip coming to a close.
