We woke up on Saturday morning excited for our Easter Egg hunts! We walked down to the local grocery for our first one of the day.
The grocery store hides thouands of eggs and the kids get to walk up and down and around the aisles.

Although you can't really tell from the pictures, the store was crazy packed, but we had fun and the girls loved it. We decided to scratch our afternoon plans of attending the big West Seattle hunt and instead do a smaller, low-key one near Donny and Megan's house. It was a wise decision because J was happy with just her few eggs and her cousins.
J loved waving to the Easter bunny, but did not want to get too close.
This ball was really all Juliet cared about. Once she got ahold of it, I had to coax and coax her to put an egg in her basket.
Just figured out there was chocolate in these eggs!
I loved the day because it was sunny, easy, fun, and J enjoyed it. While the older kids did a mad dash to gather as many eggs as possible, Juliet was content with her ball and a few pieces of chocolate. It is not hard to get caught up in all the 'stuff' for kids, but she always reminds us to keep it simple. And for that I am grateful.
