Every year we join some of my family for the Christmas party at the Mount, where my Grandmother lives. This year we took a stop by Mr. and Mrs. Claus to test the waters. As expected, Santa is not a favorite (and check out this one!), however Mrs. Claus was. Mrs. Claus handed out little candy canes to the children in line and of course Juliet kept going back for more. This girl of mine loves collections of things. She tries to hold onto as many puzzle pieces or candy canes as she can, and can sometimes get frustrated when one or two slip out of her hands. Luckily, she was happy with her stash, but attempting to get her even close to dear Santa was not easy. I am definitely not looking forward to our official Santa visit in a couple weeks.
