These poor photos have been sitting in my camera for weeks...James is now six months. Our baby boy is one of the happiest babies I have ever come across. His smile seems to have gotten wider and bigger, his fits of giggles louder and longer. And we are in such an easy, peaceful place with him because he is willing to go and be just about anywhere. He prefers to be out and about, likes standing, chilling in his carseat while we are running errands, holding anything and everything, and cuddling with someone. He naps much better during the day, and is eating solids well. While night sleeping is not going well,  he is able to put himself to sleep for many naps now, which is huge for us. I, like so so many parents, long to hold onto the newborn phase for as long as possible because it happens so fast, but now that we are in these new phases, they leave no desire to go back. Happy half birthday, sweeet boy.
