I have had to retire a bit from Bakery Nouveau because they just are not conducive to two children. I only go when we are out of the house super early and I know I can get a spot. I did get to go last week and one of the regular customers was just sitting down as I was getting up. We stopped to chat for a moment and he wanted to thank me for leaving my buggy outside. He said he gets so tired of moms bringing their huge strollers inside the tiny bakery. I laughed because I couldn't agree more. I figure only regular snobs like us would be bothered by that, but it is awfully small and strollers only seem to be getting bigger and bigger. So anyways, our bagel shop is always nearly empty so there is plenty of room for all of our stuff, and I get real coffee! They offer a free cup of coffee with your bagel in the morning and their drip is only regular, so I figure I don't have a choice. Oh how I love real coffee, good bagels, and my little darlings!
