Story time

 

 

Dear Zoo, a classic and favorite book in our house, has been read at least a hundred times. So many in fact that Juliet has it memorized. While I was getting ready this morning I whiped around when I heard her reading the book to James and my heart just about melted. I wish there was someway I could capture the love, affection and curiousity these two have for one another at this moment in our lives. Juliet offers James soft kisses, her favorite toys, and sweet little words like, "Come on James, let's dance!" James' eyes grow wide with excitment and his little arms flap whenever she is near. He cranes his neck when her voice pops up and I just know he is dying to walk after her.  I can only hope that their bond stays strong and that someday these two will have children of their own and can watch them with the same outpouring of love that I have when I see my two babies together.
