I'm a girl from West Seattle who married a boy from Spokane, and together we are living our life with our sweet children, James and Juliet

The holidays are in full swing around here! This weekend started off with our friend's annual Christmas party. I love getting all dressed up and visiting with everyone during the holidays! On Saturday we went to see Santa and had lunch at my favorite Nordstrom Cafe.

I couldn't believe how well Juliet did with Santa. We have been talking about this for weeks, so perhaps that helped. While everyone was getting organized, J got on the little rocking horse and didn't really want to get off, so B just scooped her and the horse up and put her in the picture as is. And after the photo, she even spoke to Santa and asked for some new stickers. Such a sweet girl. Whenever I ask her what she wants Santa to bring she says a new ball, some stickers, and some new toys and stickers for James. It still amazes me how generous and thoughtful she is, especially with her baby brother.

(Clearly, I am the only one enjoying our lunch today.)

Later that evening we went to Alki beach to see the Christmas ships and then warmed up with some Pizza at Pegasus.

Then on Sunday we delivered my Mom's tree to her, and decorated (well, some of us ate) our first Gingerbread house. I bought a little kit from Trader Joe's, but it just wasn't the same as using graham crackers and doing it from scratch. Although I don't think J would have cared because all she wanted to do was eat the candy, which resulted in tears when we took it away after realizing she ate most of it in about a minute.
