I let Juliet decorate the tree this year and it went pretty much as expected (all the ornaments hung low in one area), but the joy she got out of it was too cute. After each ornament was hung came a shrill of laughter. She might have some of my Christmas love in her already.

 

 

 

 

 

We also introduced the Elf on a shelf tradition. I decided a girl elf was most appropriate because Santa is a male and I wanted the ladies to also represent. Juliet named her ABCs. That is right, we call her ABCs. She isn't really a hit in our house yet, however, Santa, is. Juliet keeps asking to see him. And tonight when we heard Brian pull into the garage I asked her who she thought was here and she excitedly said Santa Clause.
