This year we changed things up and headed east for Thanksgiving (which means we will be in Seattle for Christmas!). The kids did so well on our six hour drive, and we had a wonderful visit with the family. I just love and adore Brian's family. His parents are so good to us and the children, and his brothers/sisters and their families are endless amounts of fun. I never laugh as hard as I do when I am around them. I only wish they were closer so we could get together more often and take them up on their offers to watch Juliet and James!
Juliet was all set to play with Lucy. She held onto this ball for the first half of the trip.
Everyone slept a looong time, which meant I got to have a little R and R.
My only picture of Thanksgiving dinner. We actually had two dinners. The second, on Friday, when Brian's sister joined us. Both were delicious and Sandpoint has possibly the best pie shop in the world. The pecan pie is simply amazing.
Football Saturday
Juliet had a sleeping campanion for the trip.
Tough day for the dawg fans in the house.
These two are best buds. Juliet woke and spent the entire day with Lucy.
A little coffee date with some of the girls. A new post-Thanksgiving tradition.
