I'm a girl from West Seattle who married a boy from Spokane, and together we are living our life with our sweet children, James and Juliet

(I am a little late on J's school update, but these days I feel like I am late with everything.)

On J's first preschool drop off day, she surprised everyone by marching right in and not shedding a tear. I stayed in the hall for a bit, but eventually headed out to the car where I choked back some tears. I couldn't have been more proud, but I admit it was a bit sad too because my baby girl is not such a baby any more. When I returned she was still all smiles, and some of the moms and one of the teachers from last year were all just as surprised and happy as I was. (Last year J could not leave my side without bursting into tears.) Looking at this picture I snapped before we left for school makes me want to stop time, but it also gives me a glimpse into the future. As much as I want to hold onto my little girl, I am pretty excited for the many milestones we get to share together.
