I read recently that your days with your children are long, but the years are short, and it couldn't be more true. While there are frustrations throughout the week, J has brought more joy to our life and made these past two years the happiest yet. At the end of each night when I go into tuck her in, I am still amazed at this little life we have with us. I am so proud of her growing up into the little girl that she is, but I also feel a twinge of sadness at how fast it goes. While there is nothing more that I want for her than to be a happy and independent person, I also cherish these early years where we are her world.

Happy second birthday, sweet girl. We love you so much.
