Jeff and Sarah are officially married and it was one of the best weekends/weddings! On Friday, we headed down to the Edgewater Hotel for the rehearsal. It was unusually sunny and we were there just in time for the sunset. Juliet just loved exploring the reception room, looking at the seagulls and boats out on the water, and running up and down the hotel halls. One of the halls had a little set of stairs and a ramp next to it. This is where Juliet spent most of her time. She giggled and ran up and down the ramp at least a hundred times. I seriously think it might have been her best day ever, and I loved watching her have so much fun.
On Saturday, we checked into our hotel room and Juliet immediately got to raiding the minibar. I wasn't sure what to expect at the hotel, but once again she just loved exploring the new space. It was quite baby proof and the bar and bar accessories provided endless fun for our little one.
The wedding was a bit more work, since Juliet couldn't just run around free like she did the night before, but I am happy she was there to meet so many out of town family members for the first time.
As the night wound down, Juliet was so tired from the past two days she just fell asleep in my arms. Luckily, there were tons of aunts around that held her while B and I visited and danced the night away. She eventually woke up and then we were able to just hop in the elevator and go to our room. I loved having the reception at a hotel!
