Every January 1st for as long as I can remember we have headed to Alki to watch some of my family jump in the water and celebrate the new year. When we started years ago it was only my uncle, older brothers and a couple of their friends, but over the years as the younger cousins grew up the group has also grown.  I love carrying on this tradition with my own little family now. Along with some hot baked cinnomon buns that we plan on making every New Year's morning. Happy 2012!
