We walked around Green Lake yesterday with Gina and Max who are back in Seattle for a couple months.  Seeing all the beautiful trees and leaves brought back a flood of memories from last fall when Juliet was only a couple months old and we ventured around the lake on a weekly basis. So much has changed since then. Now Juliet points to dogs, helps to push the stroller, walks hand-in-hand with me, shrieks at Max, and plays in the toy area. Last fall I would have done anything to freeze time and hold onto those baby moments, and now I just want to freeze the happiness and simplicity of J's life.  Although time is flying by at a pace unlike before, J does remind me to pause and appreciate all the small things because it really is a good life.



Sadly, I missed the opportunity to snap a photo of J and Max, but Gina got one of him in his first swing ride. Isn't he the cutest! Oh, those cheeks!
