In the beginning we wanted to have her baptized more for the tradition of it all and the fact that I hold Holy Rosary dear to my heart: my grandparents and Brian and I were married there, my K-8 schooling was there, and my mom and grandmother attended school there as well.
However, the day turned out to be much more significant and memorable than I ever anticipated. As we stood on the alter with Juliet, I was teary because I love her so much. And I knew all the surrounding people love her too and only want the best for our girl.
I am so happy we decided to have her baptized because there was no better way to bring our family together and share our love, hopes, and dreams for our sweet girl.
(B says J is going to hate us someday for this picture.)
