1 month birthday

On October 4, our sweet girl turned 1 month old. Everyone says the time with your children goes by so quickly, but until I experienced it myself I never understood. For J's first two weeks, I kept saying I wanted to freeze time and just hold onto this moment in our lives forever, but then I read a sweet note on someone's blog. She felt the same way after her baby was born, but learned that each day only gets better and better. And she was right. Life does just keep getting better. I loved Juliet before I was pregnant, while I was pregnant, and now more and more each day.

To celebrate her birthday, I will be taking her picture once a month for all of her life the first year. (As if I don't already take them everyday.) In the end, we will have 12 cute photos to frame together. Now I just need to find a frame with slots for 12 pictures. At least I have a year to do it.
