This was our best vacation yet because Juliet loved every minute of it (minus the drive of course). We started our mornings out collecting rocks on a walk around the resort, then headed to the docks to throw them in the water. We ran around in the grass chasing Lucy, balls, and bubbles. We swam in the pool and lake, built sand castles and gathered wild flowers and sticks for Grandma. Juliet raced Lucy and Grandpa, roasted s'mores, and sucked on watermelon and raspberries. We stayed up late to watch the sunset on Jan and Larry's porch and read while stretched out on chairs in the sun. And as Juliet and our baby boy grow, it will only get better as we add skiing, bike rides, boat exercursions, trips to the candy store, and adventures to the waterpark. It is a scene we will all get used to, but never tire of.
