I'm a girl from West Seattle who married a boy from Spokane, and together we are living our life with our sweet children, James and Juliet

Once again we had a lovely Fourth of July at Kathleen and James' beach house. We started the morning off collecting rocks on the beach (Juliet's favorite activity), and spent the day just relaxing, visiting, eating, and enjoying the view. As the tide moved in and evening approached, we headed next door to Charles and James's dad's house for the barbeque and Charles' birthday flag cake, curtesy of our cook, Kathleen. Then as the sun set we made our bonfire, got the s'smores roasting and started our firework show. And this year we had quite a production! Our firework display seems to get bigger and better each year.

The next morning Brian said to me he thought this was his favorite Fourth and I couldn't agree more. There is nothing more you could ask for or add to our annual Bremerton Fourth of July. The kids running free around the yard, the beach, the atmosphere, the food, and the fireworks seen all around the sound. It doesn't get any better than that.
