Before we left for our vacation in Sandpoint we attended West Seattle's Hi-Yu Parade and had our annual BBQ at Donny and Megan's house. Even as an adult, it is one of those events that you look forward to all summer. Of couse getting to watch the parade through the eyes of your child makes it even all that better.

For as long as I can remember, the parade begins with the police motorcycles putting on quite a show, weaving in and out and high speeds. It is my favorite part of the parade and apparently Juliet's as well. She waved to them and kept saying, "More, more, more!"

And just because it is fun to compare what our sweet girl looked like, here she is at her first Hi-Yu parade last year. What a difference a year makes!
