eight weeks

Today our sweet girl is eight weeks old and a ballerina.

Bestie

Today, Juliet got to go to her first Halloween/Husky Party at her bestie's house. Mason and Juliet love to hang out together. And really, who wouldn't want to hang out with an adorable monkey? While Juliet rocked the ballerina baby legs, Mason rocked the football ones.

Then Mason changed back into his Halloween costume, so the two could have a little Halloween fun.

shopaholic

I have a new problem, addiction hobby. This hobby consists of hours devoted to online shopping. Hours. As well as multiple trips to stores like Old Navy, Target, Gap.  Really anywhere that boasts signs promising me baby clothes. J now has two holiday dresses and yet I find myself scouring endless websites hunting for more and more Christmas attire. Why? Why does she need more holiday dresses? How many Christmas pajamas are really necessary? I need help. Holla at ya, Pauli! :)

what's a girl to do

When you have so many freaking cute clothes to wear before you out grow them, sometimes the day calls for party attire.  (Please excuse the weird lighting on the first two pictures. I'm still learning how to shoot outside of full automatic. It is harder than I thought. Sigh.)

As you can tell from these rare smiling shots, my daughter loves clothes as much as I do!

A few weeks ago we had the sweetest little visitor.

This picture does not due Mia Mulvey justice (or my own daughter for that matter). Mia is the most adorable 4 year old I have ever laid my eyes on. Seriously cute.

Our sweet little visitor loves dolls, dresses and all things girly. In fact she hand picked this party dress for Juliet. Her daddy told us she was so excited to come over and see a 'real' baby because she absolutely loves playing with her baby dolls. So you can imagine how she just beamed when she got to hold J.

7 weeks

Our sweet girl is 7 weeks old today. I find myself thinking all day long...

I love my girl so much.

tummy time

J has always loved to sleep on her tummy. On us that is. I can hold her for an entire nap with her resting her tummy on my chest. The playmat is another story. She loves her back, but not her tummy. I think we are up to about 2 minutes before frustration sets in and we have to flip her. But look at how hard she is trying to hold her head up! Her neck is getting stronger and stronger each day. Before I know it she will be out of the house and off to college :(
